The Air Jordan 3 Retro 'Wings' is a limited-edition release honoring the Jordan Brand Wings initiative, a global scholarship program launched in 2015. This special design showcases a white leather upper with crimson and teal eyelets and grey elephant print overlays at the forefoot and heel. Desaturated floral print twill embellishes the midfoot, collar, and eyestay, while mismatched Jumpman and Nike Air branding can be seen beneath the translucent back tab. The tongue features a red embroidered Jumpman and an inside tag with the phrase 'Up, rose … I, too, have thorns.' Sitting atop a white polyurethane midsole with visible Air-sole cushioning in the heel, the sneaker is grounded by a pink-tinged translucent rubber outsole for reliable traction.
